Intimate Surgery - Ninfoplasty

Large Lips Surgery

Indication

Surgery for the reduction of large vaginal lips is indicated for patients who have increased or excess skin and flaccidity of the large labia labia, which commonly leads to aesthetic distortion of the female genitalia and the embarrassment of the woman.

Goal

Reduce the size and thickness of large lips. In cases where the lips are sagging or flaccid, filling with fat removed from another region of the body or through substances can be done.

The surgery aims at reducing the large lips, making them normal size, correcting the aesthetic alteration without, however, reducing them exaggeratedly.

Type of anesthesia

The surgery is performed with local anesthesia and sedation or epidural and takes about 30 minutes.

Length of hospital stay

Discharge is on the same day, after two to three hours of the end of surgery generally.

Postoperative

The postoperative period of the reduction of the labia majora is usually not painful, and only common analgesics are prescribed. There is moderate swelling (swelling) of the region, which usually regresses around 14 days. Local ecchymosis (purpura) may occur, which also regresses around 14 days. The return to work may be after two to three days of surgery, avoiding physical exertion.

Sexual intercourse should be avoided for at least 21 days. There is no need to remove stitches, since the suture is performed with absorbable stitches. Sensitivity of the large vaginal lips can be changed transiently, but the sensitivity of the clitoris is not affected (main sexual sensitivity), since there is manipulation of this structure.

Definitive result

Like any plastic surgery, the definitive result occurs after six months, time for the maturation of the scar. But 80% of the result is already achieved after two months of surgery.

Vaginal wilting surgery

Fat is removed from the patient, restoring the volume of the lips and recovering the anatomy of the region.

Surgery of Venus

Correction is done through liposuction.

The Mount of Venus is above the pubis. It is the region with hair that is above the genitals. It receives this denomination in honor of the goddess of love and beauty, Venus.

Indication

There are patients in whom the mount of Venus is very prominent, especially those undergoing cesarean section, where the scar itself depresses the region just above the pubis and gives a bulging appearance above the genitals, often visible even on the pants. These have an increase of the volume or projection of the mount of Venus, causing discomfort or embarrassment.

Goal

Its purpose is the reduction and planing of the Mount of Venus, giving a less bulging aspect.

It can be performed through liposuction and / or skin resection, depending on the existence of only localized fat and / or excess skin.

Type of anesthesia

The surgery is performed with local anesthesia and sedation or epidural.

The surgery takes about 30 minutes.

Length of hospital stay

The discharge is on the same day, after two hours of the end of the surgery.

Postoperative

The post-operative reduction of the Venus mount is usually not painful, and only common analgesics are prescribed. There is moderate swelling (swelling) of the region, which usually regresses around 14 days. Local ecchymosis (purpura) may occur, which also regresses around 14 days. Ecchymosis (swelling) and edema (swelling) may go down to the large vaginal lips or scrotal sac (sac). The return to work may be after two to three days of surgery, avoiding physical exertion.

Sexual intercourse should be avoided for at least 14 days.

The sensitivity of the Mount of Venus can be changed transiently, but the sensitivity of the genitals is not affected (sexual sensitivity), since there is manipulation of these structures.

Like any plastic surgery, the definitive result occurs after six months, time for the maturation of the scar. But 80% of the result is already achieved after two months of surgery.

Ninfoplasty or labioplasty

Surgery for the reduction of small labia, known as ninfoplasty, is indicated for patients with hypertrophy of the labia minora, that is, enlargement of the labia minora. Contrary to what many women think, it is very common for patients to have enlarged small vaginal lips, leading to embarrassment with their sexual partners.

Goal

The surgery aims to reduce the small lips, making them normal size, but without reducing them exaggeratedly. The small vaginal lips have the important function of protecting the entry of the vagina, making it difficult for bacterial infections to appear, as well as helping in the local lubrication. Excessive reduction of this structure may lead to dryness, especially after menopause, a time when vaginal lubrication is less effective.

Indication

Increase of the small vaginal lips, causing discomfort or embarrassment by the female genitalia.

Type of anesthesia

Ninfoplasty is performed with local anesthesia and sedation. The surgery takes about 40 minutes.

Length of hospital stay

The discharge is the same day, after 3 hours of the end of the surgery.

Postoperative

The postoperative period of the reduction of the labia minora is usually not painful, and only common analgesics are prescribed. There is moderate swelling (swelling) of the region, which usually regresses around 14 days. Local ecchymosis (purpura) may occur, which also regresses around 14 days. The return to work may be after three days of surgery, avoiding physical exertion..

Sexual intercourse should be avoided for at least 21 days. There is no need to remove stitches, since the suture is performed with absorbable stitches. Sensitivity of the labia minora can be changed transiently, but the sensitivity of the clitoris is not affected, as there is no manipulation of this structure.

Final Result

Like any plastic surgery, the definitive result occurs after six months, time for the maturation of the scar. However, 80% of the result is already achieved after two months of ninfoplasty.
